AirPods Pro 3 updated before release

Ana sayfa / News

Apple released a software update for the new AirPods Pro 3 before they went on sale. This update, version 8A357, was revised after the previous version 8A356. The update was developed specifically for the AirPods Pro 3 and follows the improvements in iOS 26, which Apple recently released for the iPhone 17 series.

Apple doesn’t offer a way to manually initiate the AirPods Pro 3 software update. Therefore, users must follow specific steps to receive the update. First, their iPhone, iPad, or Mac must be updated to the latest operating system. These requirements include having Bluetooth turned on, having the AirPods connected to the device, and being connected to a Wi-Fi network.

To install the update, place the AirPods in the charging case, plug the case into the charger, and close the lid. Then, wait for at least 30 minutes near the device with which the AirPods are paired. When the case lid is opened, the device reconnects the AirPods and automatically installs the software update.

Apple is bringing new features and performance improvements to the AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods 4 models with the iOS 26 update. However, details about which bugs are fixed in the update have not been released. Users can verify whether the update has been successfully installed by checking the firmware version on their connected device.

After completing these steps, the AirPods Pro 3 will have the latest software, and the performance improvements announced by Apple will be activated. The update was released before the product’s official release, allowing users to experience the latest software upon receiving their devices.
